There’s a concept in Parkour that practitioners speak about known as “parkour vision.” The thought is that once you have practiced parkour long enough and learned enough techniques, you get this second sight, viewing the everyday obstacles around you in a different lens, so to speak. This concept is what Pursuit Athletics is built around. Our vision is to expand perspectives and enjoy life wherever you go.
Currently our organization major goal for accomplishing this task is to Educate the Kootenay population about Parkour, Movement, & Fitness and how to perform these activities wherever you are. We believe that being active and understanding how to do it safely & effectively are key components in accomplishing a healthy and engaging lifestyle.
A Coach for over 9 years, Mateus has many years of experience coaching all ages and groups alike. He has coached both beginner and international athletes alike and is passionate about educating all of his clients about parkour, movement, and fitness. He has been providing parkour programs in the Kootenays for 6 years now, with 4 of those years being in Nelson, BC.
Favorite Techniques: Climb-ups, Rolls, & Balance.
